I decided to head back to NYC.
I gave up my freelance business in Indy.
I needed a way to dive into the entrepreneurial world and find my tribe.
When I first moved back home, even though I wasn’t there under the pretense I wanted, it felt like the first big step in reconfiguring my life and getting back on track.
A year later, I figured out my business model and have the foundation I need for exponential growth in 2022.
Not in Indy, where I was working my ass off for 6+ years to build my network, platform and skillset, but NYC -- home.
I always envisioned coming back home as this big success. I felt like I had to keep the pressure to make it on myself and shoulder it alone.
Being home helped me realize I was wrong.
I need God. I need support. I need family. I need friends. I need a tribe.
We all do.
And making the move I’ve been dreading since graduating college was the best move I’ve ever made.
Change we fear the most is change we need to make.
